Part-Time Optician
Maumee Center for Eyecare
Maumee Center for Eyecare is looking for a part-time optician to join our team 3-4 days a week. No weekend or late night hours.
Great career opportunity for someone looking to grow their optical skills in a small, private optometry practice. Experience in optical preferred but not required as on the job training under a licensed optician can be done if needed.
Various job tasks would include but not Limited to:
* Helping patients with frame selections and taking optical measurements
* Reviewing patients' vision insurance benefits
*. Adjusting and dispensing glasses to patients
*. Inputting lab orders in electronic health records system and ordering from the lab
* Working with frame representatives to order new frames
*. Teaching contact lens classes for new wearers
